Nice List is incredibly beautiful, easy to use, and the perfect accessory for shopping this holiday season. Although it lacks advanced features, I recommend Nice List for most users.

The good:

Epic old-school adventuring. Heavy customization and replay value. Great card mini-game. Challenging.

The bad:

Perhaps a little too challenging. Rough graphics. Controls seem fidgety. Multiple unsavory adult references. Too pricey for such a dated look.

The bottom line:

Despite some shortcomings, The Quest is definitely epic enough. On your journey you'll fight thieves, undead monsters, demons, and help (or hurt!) everyone from beggars to kings. If you can handle the rough, old-school feel and high difficulty, there's at least 50 hours of gameplay, not including the expansion downloads. I would just advise against giving it to the kiddos....

First iPhone Worm Discovered, Rickrolls Jailbroken Phones

"Users of jailbroken iPhones in Australia are reporting that their wallpapers have been changed by a worm to an image of '80s pop icon Rick Astley. This is the first time a worm has been reported in the wild for the Apple iPhone. According to a report by Sophos, the worm, which exploits users who have installed SSH and not changed the default password, hunts for other vulnerable iPhones and infects them. Users are advised to properly secure their jailbroken iPhones with a non-default password, and Sophos says the worm is not harmless, despite its graffiti-like payload: 'Accessing someone else's computing device and changing their data without permission is an offense in many countries — and just as with graffiti there is a cost involved in cleaning-up affected iPhones. ... Other inquisitive hackers may also be tempted to experiment once they read about the world's first iPhone worm. Furthermore, a more malicious hacker could take the code written by ikee and adapt it to have a more sinister payload.'"

Apple has posted a job opening located at their corporate headquarters for the position of "iPhone OS Platform Security Manager." The individual would be responsible for a team of securing the booting, installation, and running of firmware. We're guessing that this lucky individual will be the one responsible for thwarting jailbreaking and unlocking efforts from our heroes in the iPhone Dev Team.

Apple has been openly critical of jailbreaking, noting that it compromises the device's security. Critics have pointed out, however, that the company seems to be more concerned with the potential lost revenue from competition from unofficial apps, though app piracy is a genuine problem that requires a jailbroken device.

Apple’s Official iPhone 3G Unlock

While most iPhone users are aware of unofficial unlock methods, you may be surprised to discover that it’s possible to legally unlock your device, courtesy of Apple.

The above image is the not-often-seen official unlock notification, as displayed in iTunes. The dialogue succinctly confirms that the user’s iPhone, in this case a 3G, has been unlocked and can now be used on any carrier. Note the Apple logo at the top left — this is a result of an official unlock sanctioned by Apple.

The am is simple: to "throw" the ball and knock down targets as they move around. Ramp Champ puts it in your pocket in several different flavors, with a dazzling and eye-catching artistic flair throughout.

Working in the retail store, I have seen people buy the phone simply because of the lightsaber app. Young teenage girls usually have about four pages of apps that I have never heard of. The great thing about the app store is that there is something for everybody.

Reports are out that the OS 3.1 beta 2 which was released to developers disabled the tethering hack. So this means that when OS 3.1 is public, you will not be able to tether on AT&T's network without their permission. We are hoping that AT&T will announce the tethering plans very soon.
